The Lancers, White's Twenty First Sett of Quadrilles

Introduction and honours (8 bars)
8 bars	The first lady and opposite man cross giving right hand, then cross back giving left
8 bars	The head ladies advance to meet the couple on their left, join hands and circle once around with that side couple, then return home
8 bars	The four men advance to meet each lady in turn, starting with the lady on his left
4 bars	The head couples Promenade to change places
4 bars	The head couples half Chaine Anglaise (the head couples return home passing opposites with right hands, and partners with left)
Repeat for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th couples in turn
