8 barsAll 4 couples chasse-croise with demi-balance
8 barsThe 1st man advance and retire twice
8 barsThe 4 ladies advance and join right hands, then retire; repeat for the 4 men
8 barsEveryone Set to their corners, then two hand turn with the ladies ending in the place of the next lady
8 barsAll 4 couples promenade around the set with the new partner
Repeat for 2nd, 3rd and 4th men
