Shade's Collection of Quadrilles, No 3

Introduction and Honours (8 bars)
4 bars	The 1st man advance and retire with lady on either side of him
4 bars	The 2 ladies change so outside hands hold man and inside hands form an arch behind his head; advance and retire again
4 bars	All three balance right and left; the man backs under arch and turns both ladies under his arms so wrists are crossed
8 bars	Still holding hands (now crossed) the three circle half round to left and back
Repeat the dance for 2nd man, 3rd man and 4th man; then for the 4 ladies
