| 4 bars | The first lady and her opposite swap places (passing each other to the left, 3 Chassés Jetté and Assemblé) |
| 4 bars | The first lady and her opposite Chassé right and left (Chassé, Jetté and Assemblé, twice) |
| 2 bars | The first lady and her opposite cross stopping in front of their partners (passing each other to the left, 3 Chassés Jetté and Assemblé) |
| 2 bars | The first lady and her opposite Balancé opposite their partners |
| 4 bars | The head couples join both hands and turn around to the left, ending in home positions (3 Chassés Jetté and Assemblé) |
| 8 bars | The four ladies right hand star once around, then left hand turn with their partners once around |
| 8 bars | Retaining the left hands of their partners, the ladies join right hands into a star and go around once more, ending in place |
