2 bars	Every second couple change sides before the dance begins
DANCE BEGINS
8 bars	All 4 couples right hand turn then left back again
8 bars	All 8 join hands and circle left and back again
8 bars	Each man right hand turn the lady on his right, and left back again
8 bars	Join hands in two groups of 4 and circle left and back again
4 bars	In two lines of four the ends curl inwards to join hands four and circle once around
4 bars	In two groups of 4 the gentlemen pass the lady on their right to their left, then repeat to bring each lady back home
4 bars	The first and third couples join hands to lead down one place then cast back home, while the second and fourth couples cast up one place then join hands to lead down back home
4 bars	The top two couples promenade down two spaces, the bottom two couples move upwards two spaces
Repeat whole dance from progressed position
